I am passionate about helping families to survive and thrive during and after separation.
I believe that families break when parents find it really hard to put their children’s interests before their own. The brain can do a really great job of making someone believe they’re putting the children’s interests first when they really aren’t. Sometimes they just need a new way of thinking. And, sometimes, parents just can’t agree on what is *really* best for their children and just need some help negotiating a compromise.
The good news is that repairs can be made and the family can be built in a new and different way.
Family Dispute Resolution: I support families to resolve their disagreements using the process of mediation. Most of the time this involves working with mums and dads who are having difficulty agreeing on how children will spend time with each of them, and how the family’s money should be shared between mum and dad. But, FDR can be used with any family dispute.
Conflict Coaching: I coach people in conflict to find their own solutions through introspection and exploring the other person’s point of view. This method is very effective whether it’s just you, or both parties. If you think your ex might have ASD and their irrational thinking is causing high conflict, I’ve developed a special program that will transform your relationship, leave you calmer and feeling more in control, and create happier kids.
Divorce Counselling & Coaching: Sometimes you just can’t decide what to do, or aren’t coping with your situation. You might worry about the future or feel like you’re a failure and will never find love again. I can work with you to sort through your feelings, assess your situation and craft a brighter future.

A Dispute Diagnostic is a free service offered exclusively by Interact Online. It’s purpose is to provide you with the opportunity to speak with a dispute resolution professional about your situation and identify the lowest cost / lowest negative consequence approach to resolve it. Sometimes that is mediation. Sometimes court. Sometimes something else.

Safety Planning is a free service provided by Interact Online to assist people living with a partner or former partner or other associate who uses violence.
The objective is to identify the risks, discuss strategies to reduce the risks and to pre-plan how to respond if the risk escalates to a level where health and safety are at risk.

Mediation is a facilitated negotiation process where a qualified and accredited mediator assists people to clarify the issues, discuss them and consider options to resolve them and document the agreement, if one is reached. It is a confidential process and safe to participate in even if there is the risk of ending up in court.

Transformative Relationship Mediation (TRM) is a facilitated negotiation process where a qualified and accredited mediator with additional training in Transformative Mediation assists people who want to save their relationship. In the process they are assisted to clarify the issues, discuss them and consider options to resolve them and document the agreement, if one is reached. It is a confidential process and each participant must agree in writing that they would like to save the relationship.

It is a facilitated Family Law negotiation process where a qualified and registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner assists people who are separating to clarify the issues regarding post separation parenting, finances and property settlements. They help them to discuss the issues and consider options to resolve them and document the agreement, if one is reached. It is a confidential process and safe to participate in even if there is the risk of ending up in court or you are currently in court and want to reach an agreement to end the court process.

New Ways Coaching is an individual skills development service to assist parents who identify a gap between their current co-parenting situation and what they would like it to be like. It is provided in conjunction with the New Ways for Families Online Post-Separation Parenting Course.
